I finished my mix and now I want to burn a cd that will sound better than the last one which has volume changes, some distortion.

how to remove music and keep vocals?
Ok Ive done some research and couldnt find the answer. Everybody seems to post tutorials to remove vocals and keep music. I need to do the opposite.

You can't do it "live", but you could use the Envelope Tool to control the fade out of one track and the fade in of the other. http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=Envelope_Tool -- Bill I tried that, but the envelop tool will fade in/out the volume of the track.. Bass fade out/in as on live mixing.
Ive tried so many ways and cant find a way to true mixing.
For example, I mixing 2 tracks, and need to slowly fade out the bass sound of one, and slowly fade in the bass of the second track. Like I do on a live mix.
Does anyone know how to do it?
