Audacity Forum

When I have a blank audio track, I want to be able to select it, hit record, and be recording IN THAT TRACK. It annoys me to no end that every time I hit the record button, it creates a new track. Please tell me there is a way to make that not happen. if not, I'll probably never use audacity again b...
