I have been playing with a high-pass filter as well (steep roll-off at 50 Hz.). That seems to work fairly well, but I'll try the filter mentioned.

Hi Koz, Using an un-earthed power supply (or cord) is *not* a hazard by definition. Unless you are talking about kitchen appliances, dish washers, washing machines or something like that.
