I am experiencing the same issue in with 1.2.5 (the latest Intel version) on Leopard. When typing in any save dialog, the keystrokes go through to the app and control the app! Kinda scary if you have a selection and accidentally delete that selection while trying to export it! (Thank God for Undo!) ...
