I don't actually know anything about how Audacity handles those things, but if you are trying to slow things down to learn a tune, there is always ABC (actually called abc) and The Amazing Slow-Downer (which only works on Windows, unfortunately).

I don't actually know anything about how Audacity handles those things, but if you are trying to slow things down to learn a tune, there is always ABC (actually called abc) and The Amazing Slow-Downer (whic only works on Winsows, unfortunately).

I have no idea why you were sent to Ambrosia's 10.4 website. For OS X 10.3, you can use WireTap 10.2 - if you can find it on the Internet. You can use the basic recording program for free, but not the extra features - you pay for them (like Audio Hijack). I prefer Wiretap 10.0, which is easier to us...
