Sorry, I misunderstood you - I wasn't reading properly ...... The recovery tools in Audacity aren't that great, especially in 1.2 - I think they've improved a bit in 1.3. WC No problem. I was able to install on a windows machine and use the recovery program and it appears to recover everything, but...

Thanks for the response. I know this and that is what I am doing. I am opening the aup file and not the individual data files. Basically the error message is saying that it can't find the individual au files. So I am wondering how to create a project from these individual files.

Is it possible to create a new project with the au files in the data folder? I recorded a bunch of stuff recently and for some reason when I go to open any of the aup files I get an error message, something about not being able to find au files, but they exists. I am able to import the au files but ...
