not sure what you mean by 'pause' instead of 'stop'.

i'm talking about after the thing is recorded and i've saved the .aup file to my desktop. when i open it and then go to 'file' then 'export' ... then hit 'save' .... in the 'save as type' box the only selection available is .xml

instructions say i can export as various files. when i try the only thing i can export it as is .xml and i have no clue what that is.
i'm using 1.3.9
