Re: Recording sound is great then goes to statis

Are you using a USB turntable?

A bad USB connection can cause this. Make sure the USB cable is plugged directly into the computer, not through a hub.

Yes it is OK

The difference between 233.08186 and 233.082 is so small, nobody can hear it.

Try this: generate a sound of 220 HZ and a sound of 220.1 Hz
Can you hear a difference?

Re: how can I do these exercises?

Il terzo esercizio è simile al' secondo.

Per realizzare un'ottava, la frequenza del primo suono è un meta di quello del secondo, e
l'amplitudine del secondo è meno di quello del primo.

Va bene?

Re: how can I do these exercises?

@Steve; Yes, he wants step by step instructions to perform the three tasks. The automated translation is not great; it should read; 1) Make a harmonic complex sound (220 Hz fundamental) consisting only of the first 3 odd partials with decreasing amplitudes . 2) Make a chromatic scale of 5 notes from...

Re: how can I do these exercises?

I'll see what I can do. At least I should be able to translate questions (and maybe answers?- my Italian is pretty basic)

Re: Volume control with Behringer uco202

USB sound cards generally set the recording level quite low, so that they don't overload and cause distortion if they are fed with a very powerful signal.

You can use Effect > Amplify to increase the level after recording.
