Re: expand on Norm's new track name in display
The color picker is build in to the font picker dialog Where? Sorry I guess that is a feature missing on the wxGTK version. Look at the image in this reply: http://forum.audacityteam.org/search.php?keywords=and+note+that+the+MAC+stuff+is+still+undetermined. about half way down page 2 of this thread...

Re: expand on Norm's new track name in display
we appear to have some of the colour chooser code, but no colour options. Is this version supposed to include the color picker thing? The color picker is build in to the font picker dialog but when you save a font in prefs it does not store the color so color storage/retrieval needs to be dealt wit...

Re: Windows 7
Wondering if you can tell me how to set the actual TITLE for a wav file to appear when it plays in a Podcast versus displaying the .wav file path instead? I think Steve has you on the right track; for more info on the metadata editor see: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Metadata_Editor I'm guess...

Re: expand on Norm's new track name in display
In my haste to get this out for beta testing <grin> I neglected two features and missed a bug. The bug is that if you do not click OK in the font dialog it will reset your font to the default--fixed. One feature (maybe a P5 bug) was that the dialog did not open with the previously preferred font alr...

Re: Help not functioning
Actually, I think the dialog should have two links--one to "view" the other to "download" with the view link separated as is and the download link going to the Unzipping the manual" page: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Unzipping_the_Manual . OK I can probably get way wi...

Re: Help not functioning
If you don't see the dialogue, it is not working correctly. I see the dialog. It is visually the same (wording etc.) for both menu entries: noHelp.png Note the link offering a chance to download--if one starts from the Quick Help menu item and uses the link it opens a browser on the Manual's "...

Re: Help not functioning
The nightly does not have the help files in the zip but if I copy them in the Audacity from nightly finds them just fine. I rebuilt SVN HEAD from a clean build and the second time the help folders all were downloaded and installed properly. I suspect that the previous test had a failed download (I d...

Re: Help not functioning
For what it's worth, I have the same problem. Usually Chrome16 is my default browser but I also tried after switching to IE9 and still had the problem. It has been a really long time since I have tried either of the menu items to access the manual but I do know that it used to work just fine. BTW, I...
