Yes, and more is available with the Save and Load features. You may save an unlimited number of configurations and thereafter load them as needed.kozikowski wrote:Does RESET return to the default Audacity colours?

This is an addendum to the locked topic in the Archived Feature Requests sub-board: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=69511 I have added a few refinements and extended the new Color Preferences panel: GUI.png At the bottom of the Colors section there are two new sub-sections: Ti...

Re: Changing track background color (NO THEMES!)
For anyone following this – I now have control of the background colors of the Track Info Panel but I also realize that I should probably allow the user control of the font/other drawing color so that it could be white-on-black, black-on-white or what have you. Something to do this afternoon…

Re: Changing track background color (NO THEMES!)
Edgar, are you a developer? I don't understand a passage: do you mean that you already have developed a version of Audacity with configurable track colors but it is still to be released yet? I am not a member of the formal Audacity Development Team. Some of the code that I have provided them has be...

Re: Changing track background color (NO THEMES!)
I could not figure what set the Timeline and Track Control Panel colours in Ed's version. Are those configurable, Ed? The Timeline colors are now configurable but I have not posted a new alpha version with that configuration feature yet. This is a work in progress and corporate was chomping at the ...

Re: Mix to New Track
I would say "I didn't know" but I suspect that it is in the manual which I have read back to front (maybe that's the problem I'm reading it backwards).
+1 for adding it to the tracks menu

Re: Changing track background color (NO THEMES!)
Now, is there a way to help the people like me without having to install a theme? I mean, I can even edit the textfiles and codes if you tell me what to do! If you are willing to be a beta tester (that is kind of like a canary in a coal mine) you are welcome to try this version which I am in the pr...

Re: Track Drop-down Menu commands
Works just fine on Windows 7. I could not test the accelerator keys because 80 years ago I turn them off and even Google can't tell me how to turn them back on.

Re: Track Drop-down Menu commands
Checking out 2.0.5 RC 1 right now will apply patch tonight sometime but I'm also working with someone else on another problem so it might be late.steve wrote: Please note, this patch has only been tested on Linux. If there are problems on Windows, perhaps Edgar could offer advice.
