Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
Since 2.0.6 has only been out for about three weeks do you think you installed it shortly before your problems appeared? If you believe you installed it before your problems began * , did you accept the one-time offer to reset Audacity's preferences during the install process? Have you tried resetti...

Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
Audacity 2.0.6 has only been out for a very short time – unless you are downloading the alpha versions (Nightlys) - the official release was on or about 29 September, just short of three weeks ago.Emerogork wrote: What ever version I had last Sunday was in use for a while

Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
No, Audacity does not automatically update. I really need to see all of your scripts – use copy & paste.Emerogork wrote: Could there have been an automatic update? (I doubt it)

Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
2.0.6 and it is a new installation. I uninstalled it after the problems showed up and reinstalled it to see if there was a corruption or something gone wrong. I had been running this long before the TS stopped communicating with Audacity. Just to make sure I understand…this was working for a while ...

Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
It does seem that it is trying to import a file as audio and it clearly is not. I will need to see the entire AutoIt3 script(s). Are you saying that you have a command in your script which causes Audacity to be run from a CLI with something (vaguely) like this line: "DRIVE:folder(s)Audacity.exe" "C...

Re: Lock pan and volume in tracks
Are those Toolbar sliders a different class of slider? There are three Slider classes; some places use one, other places use one of the others. However, it's a bit difficult to tease out why they react differently in this instance. Cursory inspection seems to imply that all three versions share the...

Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
I know this is a lot to ask…would you consider reinstalling 2.0.5 to determine if your problems are related to the new version?Emerogork wrote:2.0.6 and it is a new installation.

Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
I see the error statement: "Audacity did not recognize the file 'C:Gork__Scheduled Event Scripts]InitializeAudacityB.au3" Is that close square bracket between Scripts & Initialize correct, the typo introduced when writing this email or an error? Making it work by simply adding the failing Echo stat...

Re: Lock pan and volume in tracks
In all the years that I have used Audacity, I've accidentally nudged one of those sliders, perhaps once. I've done it a lot more than once The strange thing for me, also having it happen a lot more than once – before I set up my lockout, is that I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how it happe...
