Re: Suggestions for bundled GVerb plugin
We do not compile GVerb for the Audacity source distro. I could not find the source code nor could I find any non-Audacity based support site. Do you have the source or know someone who does?steve wrote: Unfortunately I'm not a programmer or I would have done so long ago.

Re: Trouble compiling Audacity from SVN with ASIO (solved)
I couldn't have done it without your help, thanks. :) I love the feeling of accomplishing things, especially difficult things like this. :D [...] Now, What files would I need to transfer to my recording PC should I choose to use Audacity with ASIO support? I don't have to build Audacity on the PC I...

Re: [live sound] putting Audacity between the mics and mixer
As it has 6 AUX outs and 2 (usable for your case) groups you could use these as 8 pass-thrus but would lose them for other uses. You can build your own isolated Ys The 6 AUX outs are actually four + two because the two (5 and 6) are switched between being AUX out and Effect on a per channel basis. ...

Re: Having alot of trouble compiling Audacity from SVN
I feel that we have both put a lot of hard work into this and I want to thank you for sticking with the project! Doesn't it feel really nice to succeed in the face of lots of difficulty--well done! Now, if you would not mind, as the original poster you may edit the title of this post; I think it wou...

Re: Logging All Processes & Changes
I'll PM you shortly with my contact details. I usually have all the time in the world to futz around with Audacity, but... I started a major security system install last week and have one more day's work on the mechanicals; after that I will need to set up the computer and internet related stuff. T...

Re: Undo/Redo shows list of commands
I think of it as an editing tool/dialog--with it you may change the audio data. Other than possibly Karaoke (which I have never even chosen from the menu) no other View menu item allows one to change the audio data. I doubt seriously that I could convince the Developers to move it! There is a tiny c...

Re: Undo/Redo shows list of commands
Yes, that's what I'm looking for. I expected to find it with the Undo button, in a drop down-menu I like the idea of having it available in the Edit menu and would leave it in the View menu as well. I might change the wording of the Edit menu item so users are aware that they might employ the Histo...
