Re: AUP and DATA - Save or delete?
When I download songs I export to .wav and .mp3 and I save the .aup but I delete the .data. Must I keep the .aup and .data files? John B. If you save either you must save both. One without the other is useless. On the other hand if you've already exported your project and are happy with it there ma...

In re. "GetModuleHandleExW" look here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms683200(v=vs.85).aspx Half way down the page: Requirements Minimum supported client Windows XP Unicode and ANSI names GetModuleHandleExW (Unicode) and GetModuleHandleExA (ANSI) It appears Win2k is not fully Unicode compl...

Re: Suggestions for bundled GVerb plugin
There isn't anything here that helps is there? http://code.google.com/p/audacity/source/browse/audacity-src/trunk#trunk%2Fwin%2FLADSPA_plugins-win Yep, that got me compiling. I'm running into a totally strange situation! Your patch would not compile so I am manually doing it step by step until I hi...

Re: 1.3.13 RC1 won't run on Win 2k
Gale has not chipped in yet so... I think Win2000 is not Unicode compatible so the OP may need to use the ANSI build. Gale builds these for legacy systems; RC1 (maybe not the final RC1 but possibly an interim build) is available here: http://audacity.238276.n2.nabble.com/Win-ANSI-zip-and-exe-1-3-13-...

Re: Suggestions for bundled GVerb plugin
The supplied "configure" script is not compliant with Windows. Someone might be able to cross-compile on Linux for Windows (but not me).

Re: Suggestions for bundled GVerb plugin
can someone tell me who compiled the various plugins for the latest audacity binary packages? This specific plugin is dated 9/25/2006 in Audacity's Windows installed version. I do not find any indication of the source code in Audacity's "trunk", I suspect it was incorporated directly as a library n...

Re: Suggestions for bundled GVerb plugin
Hey Steve... What is this all about (from the README)?: "You will need libfftw version 2 or 3 installed with 32 bit float support (eg. for FFTW3 use --enable-float), for FFTW recommend you specify the approriate SIMD isntruction set for your CPU with --enable-sse, --enable-sse2, --enable-k7 or --ena...

Re: Suggestions for bundled GVerb plugin
This is way out of my comfort zone. I do not have any C compiler installed except Microsoft's. The Readme is terse at best and I'm not going to devote the time and effort needed to find out if it will even compile, sorry!

Re: Moving forward
Has development of Audacity stopped? It has been some time since the last beta. As of a few hours ago Audacity is in "commit freeze" to prepare a "release candidate" for the next beta: http://audacity.238276.n2.nabble.com/not-quite-freeze-td6209648.html The timeframe for rc1 availability is 23:59 U...
