Re: Remove lisp.
Okej I have installed Spittfish I Audascity and tried to follow the manual, but spittfish takes away all sounds BUT the “S”-sound. I can't understand what I am doing wrong. Ether everything but the “S”-sound disappears or everything is as it was before I started Spitfisk. There is noting in between...

Re: filtering distortion
As said already, you can't repair this fully ... just try to make it sound better.
I would try some spectral repair tools found on iZotope RX and Adobe Audioion 3.

Re: Dynamic Rumble Filter
You propably need to improve the grounding from turntable/pre-amp to PC/audio interface (try different places for ground on PC side (I normally ground through sound card ground but that does not always work that way)) or/and fix the PSU from turntable/pre-amp (try by either improving the PSU or by j...

Re: Input device question?
Do you have just onboard sound device or is there another audio device present? IIRC, there's an option on FL where you enable I/O devices. If you use std audio driver models (MME/DS(/WDM/KS)) then you (normally) set the play/recording source through Windows mixer (start run... sndvol32 /r (recordin...

Re: Problem
Hi!
You must have set the recording source to wave out/stereo mix (What-u-hear) on system recording control -panel?
On windows PC, select Start -> Run... and type sndvol32 /r. Change the recording source to Line-In.

Re: Help identifying cable/jack
CP33 Owner's Guide, page 14 says: 1 OUTPUT [L/MONO][R] jacks (page 42) These jacks output stereo audio signals ( 1/4" mono phone plug ). For monophonic output, use just the L/MONO jack. So, you need a 2 x 1/4" mono to 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo plug cable, ... If your equipment is close to each other then ...

... Nyquist is also capable of this, however I would expect that dynamically adjusting the frequency/slope of the filter would be less effective than dynamically adjusting the gain at a set frequency. Implementation is also a bit more complicated. If you can make/find a dynamic rumble filter that w...

You are listening to one computer's worth of delay. The only other way out is to get a faster machine.

I think this wouldn't be an issue if Audacity would support for ASIO (AFAIK, it does not). BTW, why not? ... it's shouldn't be hard to implement.

Re: Dynamic Rumble Filter
Here's an example of standard HP filter which can be used for to filter those rumble/subsonic frequencies. Anyone can prepare it quite quickly. It's a VST implementation in question. First, what you need: 1. SynthEdit - http://www.synthedit.com/ 2. Christian Budde's Butterworth LP & HP filter module...
