A non-free solution is Audio Hijack from Rogue Amoeba.

Re: Akai USB turntable does not work anymore
Connect your turntable to the Macbook. Go to System Preferences > Sound > Input. Select the turntable (it will probably say something like "USB Audio CODEC"). Play a record. Does the input level meter bounce? If not, figure out why. Start Audacity. In the Device Toolbar select "USB Audio CODEC" as t...

Re: Recording Mixes from Rekordbox through my controller
Using the Behringer interface will get you away from using Soundflower, which may or may not help. It seems a roundabout way of recording. As I understand it, Rekordbox plays audio files that you have on your computer, and sends the audio to your interface, which has an output that is generally mean...

Re: Recording Mixes from Rekordbox through my controller

Re: Audacity on Big Sur
So far, so good...except one problem: the playback indicator/bar used to move steadily across the screen regardless of how much I'd zoomed in. Now, when I zoom in, it "ticks" from point to point. This does not affect playback sound...but it means that I have less visual feedback of exactly where th...

Re: Recording Mixes from Rekordbox through my controller
Now I just have problems with it cutting during the songs while they are playing. Every few seconds the sound will cut out and then come back. Even when I try to play both tracks at the same time it cuts them off the same way. Any ideas? You're playing back through the controller? What happens if y...
