Audacity Forum

i guess it's in a separate folder from audacity. I don't believe i was given a choice as to where to download it. I think it's in a zip file right now, but not sure? How can i locate this file for audacity to use?

thanks. I followed your instructions and was able to ( i think) download Lame but when i tried to export as MP3 i was still unable to do sa and am still getting the same message as before and it also says "cannot locate lame library". What now?

I can only currently export songs i record in audacity as WAV format. I want to export them as MP3 instead but when i try that i get the following error message and i cannot get past it and/or fix it: LAME library obtain - download Lame_enc.dll then locate this file for audacity.
