Can Audacity do any of that (as easily)?

Audacity is not a video editor.

I am digitizing LP records using a USB turntable, and have a clipping problem. Audacity recognizes this interface but not getting a signal. I can get a signal via built in computer mic. Other apps work with the interface. Thoughts?
