Re: How to mute monitoring of live audio during rec playback?
the live feed continued even with the Microsoft Sound Wrapper or FrontMic selected. Finally I had to shut off the FM tuner/amp I was recording from. That stopped the live audio so I could listen to the playback without the live feed drowning it out. Lyndon, also try this: Right-click on the speaker...

Re: Mixer Board - Always on top
On W10 I can move the Mixer Board with 2.4.2 and with the latest alpha test build I have for the upcoming 3.0.0 Peter, do you still have an always on top issue ? I've tried setting the Mixer Board frame style to "wxFRAME_FLOAT_ON_PARENT". steve, is this what you tried?: diff --git a/src/MixerBoard....

I can not think of any source in my recording room other than mouthclicks. These clicks appear frequently and not in room tone mea...

Re: Which comes first, import or export for after recording?
I have a hard time finding my file in WMP, & think I am doing it out of order. After music recording, should I be importing first, then exporting? 2.4.2 :D Yes, I don't suppose you are the only one. ;) So on Audacity, I made a short recording, then did FIle > Export > Export As Mp3. Then I specifie...

Re: Multitrack recording [SOLVED]
Solved it. I found this in the manual :- Confirm the following settings in the Transport menu:- Overdub (on/off) is checked (Mine was unchecked, selecting it made the difference) Software Playthrough (on/off) is not checked. Thanks to anyone who was pondering this. Thanks for reporting back that yo...

Re: Rhythm Track in Keyboard Track
So, I was recording something last night. This morning I had realized that I could still hear and see rhythm the track playing in the track where I was recording keys. Anyone run into this issue? What did I do wrong? Is there any possible to remove it from the recording? As steve pointed out, from ...

Re: how to remove/filter out unwanted audio noise using audacity?
I do have a short audio file, the audio file is of someone reading the letters "ke", however around 2/3 of the audio file you can hear a disturbing background noise that I don't seem to be able to remove using Audacity. Maybe you have to put your volume a bit higher to hear annoying background nois...
