Thanks, but still every effect I add is added to both tracks.
To apply an effect to a specific track, click on "Select" at the bottom of that track's Track Control Panel before applying the effect.

See https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/aud ... ction.html

I hope this helps. :D

Re: Missing sounds

I´m making a podcast, and somehow it seems that some of the sounds are missing. Words are cut, and the result is a lot of mis spoken words and short cuts. I have truncated the silence, normalized the whole thing and compressed it. Can this be the reason why? Hi, I don't know. Were these sounds miss...

Re: How to delete the click track after recording vocals?

When I click x to delete the click track, I can still hear it afterwards. I'd like to send the vocals out to a producer, but having the click track in the recording isn't going to cut it. So, presumably you have "Generated" a click-track. Then you have "Recorded" a second track below it via Shift-R...

Re: Recording Mixes from Rekordbox through my controller

Will the module I sent a picture of work for my situation if the applications won't. Basically working externally instead of internally. So I remember recording via a 1/8" male to 1/8" male cable from the headphone output to the line in circuit. :D Today, with no line-input ports, you really need t...

Problem: Getting static on playback of Audio we recorded. Very little on first listen but gets worse and worse on subsequent listenings.

Re: Konfiguration mit meiner Hardware

Connected my genos to the mixer. USB cable from the mixer to the PC. Verify: If you plug headphones into the mixer, can you hear your keyboard ? Downloaded Audacity and tried to configure my devices under Settings. But it didn't work out the way I wanted it to. No? What did you try? Make sure you c...

Re: Audacity not responding

now my file is so large (270 hours or so) that the duration is reported wrong - it says 179 hours. However, if I play the file in Windows to the "end" at 179 hours it continues playing beyond 179 hours, but the marker still says that it's at the end (179th hour). Do you know why? That is one long p...
