Re: Add rhythm track to existing project
Hi Steve, No i followed all the steps, and it did toggle off the selected track and created a new track. However on playback it starts without the new click track until it reaches the point i chose then plays the new click track alone. At the end it reverts back to playing the original recording mi...

Re: Bass and Treble thing
OS: Windows 10 Audacity Version: 2.4.2 Every time I open Audacity, I see that the Bass and Treble window has the bass level and volume raised at maximum. When I try to reset it, it lasts the whole session, then it goes back to the bass and volume levels being maxed when I reopen Audacity. Why is it...

Re: Audacity for Android
Hello, Anyone interested in developing a not for public option of Audacity for Android? I hope to give it to Audacity free, for public scrutiny and eventual approval by the company for public download. Let me know! Cheers, Andrei C. Davis :? I am confused. Is this " not for public " or &q...

Re: Clicking noises - why and how to remove?
If there are no clicks in the recording, it makes me think something I'm doing is making those noises. Have you ever video'd yourself while making a recording ? https://www.amazon.com/Acuvar-Universal-Smartphones-eCostConnection-Microfiber/dp/B01IDL3Z3Q/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=Acuvar-Unive...

Re: Audacity with Xone 96 Mixer - No or Very Low Signal in Audacity
I’m using a Mac so I think this complicates matters? No. You do not need ASIO for Mac. Using up an input Chanel isn’t ideal. At least it’s a reply. So you have that. Also check permissions. Re: Error opening recording device. Error code: 0 Success.
The speaker is playing fine, and I want to record something I'm playing on that. Used Audacity to do this for many years, so I don't understand the problem. Also I'm not as familiar with Win8 as I was with "good old XP". Also, I'm not sure that it would make any difference, but check that...

Re: Splitting a track in Audacity 2.4.2
I've used Cntrl + I and the Edit > Clip Boundaries option to split my audio track and neither is working to split the track. What could I be doing wrong? Thanks It is important to first click in the track at the location where you want the split. I say this because I thought I had done that, but th...

Re: Preview mic output
I'm using Audacity 2.4.2 and was wondering if there's some way to hear my mic output without having to record. It seems like every time I try to record something, I end up having to re-record it because I got too close to the microphone and the audio ended up sounding loud and grainy, so I want to ...
