Re: Can't record using Audacity
Hi guys, apologies no adapter is used. Just a phono to USB-C cable. Phono is plugged into the booth output. DJ mixer is a Bozak AR-4 (new freshly built one). Just tried on Garageband and I get the same issue - program recognises the input and names it UC02 (same as Audacity) but still no audio. Rea...
Re: mic muted
Using windows 10 I open the sound settings and go to the microphone and select troubleshoot. then there is a note that the mic was muted and is now fixed. I have no personal experience with a microphone muting itself on windows 10, nor am I familiar with anyone reporting this issue previously on th...

Re: Audacity Not Recording From Cassette Device
I see two different entries under sound preferences on the mini. One is Unknown USB Audio Device. Second one is USB PnP Audio Device. On Audacity I only see the first one - unknown USB Audio Device. I suspect this is where my issue lies - I have tried different cables with the cassette device and t...

Re: When I speak into my microphone the audio on Audacity is unclear
Oli,
The two posts to illustrate the issue are very helpful. Unfortunately, I do not have any additional tricks that come to mind other than what I have already shared. It is time for someone else to take a look into this.

Re: Clipping audio after speed change ...
Still needing help. Thank you all :-) Could anyone tell me how to fix the clipping I had after changing the speed and pitch of the audio clip? I could send you a sample before and after the change for comparison. I assume this is the problem to which you were referring. As steve indicated, (permane...

Re: When I speak into my microphone the audio on Audacity is unclear
You caught my prior post before I was done editing it. ;) Just checking, does the fact that my microphone works okay on another sound recording software mean that the problem won't be solved by altering my computer like that? What other sound recording software are you using? Do you want to post a ....

Re: When I speak into my microphone the audio on Audacity is unclear
Hey, I've been following the links and searching around on my sound settings, one thing I thought I should say is that I have tried to talk on my microphone on another sound recording software and it was much clearer than it is on Audacity. Would looking through sound settings help considering that...

Re: How to paste overwriting
How can I overwrite while pasting, so that the rest (track right of the pasting point) is not shifted but stays in rythm? The simplest way is to paste into a new track. ("Tracks menu > Add New >...") As steve suggests, you can paste into a new track. If you then select the corresponding a...
