Re: Change volume of the original audio to the copy
Get a audio track and copy this one to a second track (with the same audio) Change the volume, to 10% higher and export to mp3 So you could start with this: Amplify:Ratio="1.0488176" ExportMp3: Amplify:Ratio="0.95345455" I am not sure how to Export only a single track with a Mac...

I have tried the 'Reset Configuration option but my Audacity still keeps crashing so I am not sure how I open the hidden folder and what to do exactly. Re: missing audio data block files
Hello. I am using Windows 10 and Audacity 2.4.2. I had been working on an _aup file over the past few days (saving without a problem). I closed it today, and then reopened a couple of minutes later and received a notification that that data project files could not be found. I came across this probl...

Re: Sync one audio track to another by 2 points

Plus you have to later on shift the track + possibly repeat the process several times. Actually, no calculations are required in 2.4.2. Simply jot down the target ...

Re: Audacity 2.4.2 locks up after several minute of inactivity

I tried re-installing, but same the problem exists! Anyone running into this glitch? In a word, no. :) Two things to try: 1) Tools > Rese...

Re: Resampling in Audacity 2.4.2
The sample rate of the exported file is taken from the "Project Rate" (lower left corner of the main Audacity window). There is no need to resample the individual tracks first, just set the Project Rate and Export. I wonder if there is any way the software could help clarify exactl...

Re: Serious latency problems
The best solution is to use an audio interface with zero-latency direct-hardware monitoring. When I overdub I use a slightly different system that seems to work for me on Windows: 1) Create backing track. 2) Select overdub ON. 3) Select software playthrough (monitoring) OFF. 4) Plug in headphones. ...
