Ok, so I got the new audacity. Here is what I ended up with and with a little more information: I connected my Alesis to my computer and I also use 2 mics. I got them to record fine and then when I tried to record the music from my PC I can it to play through my headset with like no cords attached; ...

Ok, I am going to try the audacity version as I prefer to use that to record. How do I know which output to charge? I am still new to all this.

Hello Everyone,
I bought the Alesis Multimixer 8 USB 2.0 and I am having trouble getting a connection from my soundcard to my mixer to record audio. I am able to hook up the mixer to my PC and hear the music; however I can't record it to Audacity or Cubase LE 4.

Can anyone help?
