All that seems to be Ok as far as the Audio Devices.The Key Issue here is that I cannot Change the Input (On the Main Audacity Screen) !!It is Locked into "Phone Line" and I can't Change it.The Former Version of Audacity wasn't doing this.I Plugged in My Microphone into the soundcard and No Change.I...

and the Text:"NewPrefsInitialized=1" is in the existing Audacity.cfg file now and it seems the other lines are different,because the Beginning Lines start with the New Version Description so something has Changed.I hope the line I just described earlier is the one I was supposed to have left there.

Response to:What you need to do is just "Save" so that it overwrites the original. The file extension must remain as .cfg but sometimes Windows changes the name to audacity.cfg.txt (and then hides the ".txt" which is why you need the file extension visible I did that originally but it didn't overwri...
