Re: stretching track
The first answer, doesn't answer my question. I wish to manually extend or compress the tracks exactly where I want them by visual means, which using the methods in the effects doesn't allow. Either you can or cannot do so with the cursor and I would appreciate knowing if and how this is possible.

Re: stretching track
I'm asking for a way to manually extend or compress the track, longer or shorter, using the cursor. Is this possible?

Re: If you can't... than how can you?
I know attacks are uncool in forums, but I am brand new to the forum (been using Audacity almost a decade, though not too often) and I made my first two posts today and this kozikowski guy posted idiotic, if not mean spirited, responses to both. I don't know what your problem is kozikowski, but let'...

Re: Repair tips needed
kozikowski: I think you posted a reply to the wrong question because your response showed a complete disregard for anything remotely to do with my question. I have been engineering sound for over 43 years and unlike you I can read and comprehend. Seems every forum has those who like to post their no...

Repair tips needed
I am doing repair work to remove some minimal clicks from an old cassette recording I transferred. Because these clicks are minimal they do not stand out from the rest of the music in the sound wave display, therefore I am having a hell of a time finding the correct locations to repair. The playback...

If you can't... than how can you?
The advice in the FAQ if you can't login is to contact a group administrator, but how do you contact a group administrator without logging in???
