The first answer, doesn't answer my question. I wish to manually extend or compress the tracks exactly where I want them by visual means, which using the methods in the effects doesn't allow. Either you can or cannot do so with the cursor and I would appreciate knowing if and how this is possible.

I'm asking for a way to manually extend or compress the track, longer or shorter, using the cursor. Is this possible?

I am using version 1.3.7 and I would like to know if there is a way to stretch the audio of a track either shorter or longer. Thank you very much.
