Well it was not 1.4 after all! When I installed it, it was 1.2.5, and I had no problems installing. However, I couldn't get any power to the Ion turntable, so it has to be replaced. Maybe I'll get to this project some day!

Very interesting! It came with the turntable that I got this week. I think I'll download the one for the Itel based Macs and go with that, since you report that it shouldn't cause any frustrations. Then I can wait and see what you report on 1.4.
