Recording Audio - Kiss the Mic Problem
I'm trying to record audio, but when I'm recording I have to place my mouth so close to the mic to get any audio to record.I've looked into my mic settings in Windows make sure nothing was muted and everything looks good. How can I record audio without having to literally have my mouth touch the mic ?

Re: Audio Resize
I had to upgrade to Audacity 1.3 but using some of the suggestions that you suggested I did manage to cut off a few seconds and it ended up sounding close to the same, thank you.

I have a audio clip that I need to scale down by 4.5 seconds but not loose anything and hopefully have it not sound as though it's being speed read. I hope this is possible ?
