Recording over questions
Whenever I press record It always makes a new track. Is there anyway to set it so that when i hit record and I have a specific track selected it will record over that track?

One more question... Is there anyway to lock or "align" these rhythm tracks with the click track after i use the Time Shift Tool? I think there are some Beat Finder or Align options in Audacity, anyway can they lock your tracks in perfectly or do you have to do it all my ear? If I have to do it all ...

I believe it might be "offness" because while it is out of rhythm time with the click track it is rhythm with itself. Any tips?
