The sound is ok through stereo device, and the vocals are on the right. Windows may be configured for mono so it's only sending the left-signal to Audacity. I assume you've configured Audacity for stereo and you're getting two identical waveforms (left on the top and right on the bottom)? There is ...

The stereo effect does not seem to be affected when the same sound comes from the left and the right.

The turntable is USB connected to the PC.

Hello. I am using Audacity to digitize my old vinyl records. On some vocal pieces, I notice that in the transcription that Audacity does, the voice of the songs is very weak compared to the instruments. The disc has no problem. The turntable either.
