Hi I received an emai about the release of the new 1.3 beta. I'm a voice actor and I use my current version to record wav and mp3 files for my clients. I'm quite satisfied with the older version and honestly a bit reluctant to download the newest version. Is there something in the newer version that...

Is Source Connect compatable with Audacity 1.3 and Windows XP?

I'm not sure I understand the answer you gave. I'm running Windows XP SP3 with the Audacity Beta. Looking for an open source or inexpensive plugin that will emulate Source Connect.

I downloaded the DirectX version of Anwida DX Reverb Lite, however I'm not quite sure how to interface it with Audacity. I see no reference to it in any of the Audacity menus.

Hey all, thanks for the quick response. I know I'll always get that from this forum.

I'm using WindowsXP Media Edition (don't giggle, it came with the desktop) and the Beta 1.3 of Audacity

Is it possible to add reverb to a given track on the Beta version?

After finishing a project last night I saved the file and the data and closed Audacity. This morning when I go to open audacity the only thing that appears on my desktop is the level meters. I can't get the full Audacity desktop to open. Can anyone help?
