Blocksize is now set at 4255600.

I imported the wav of the second track into 1.2 and the same missing syllables were noticable.

Gale I played the track again and no glitches occurred. But more important is my last post.....1.2 does the job without glitches at all

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Same mic, same copy, same input........clean in Audacity 1.2.6

Never mind today's tests......further recording revealed repeatable glitches on both Tascam and Sigma Tel playback. Now we have to think about the input device, no?

If I eliminate the Tascam in the signal path I lose the 48v phantom power supply from my mic.

A file is on the way from USend it. One project, 2 recordings, both using the Tascam as input. The top was played back through the computer sound card, Sigma Tel. I imported 11 minutes of cd tracks into Audacity and played through the computer's sound card.........pristine and perfect. Ok, the next step will be to record from the booth using the Tascam as an input and the Sigma Tel sound card as the output. Will keep you posted, hope all had a nice holiday. B...

I can certainly change the USB port, I'll just exchange it with something else.
I can't believe the mouse is causing this but I'll do as instructed.

I'm also importing some new music into Audacity and playing back through Sigma Tel as opposed to the Tascam.
