Re: Guaranteed High Frequency Sound Card With IN and OUT

Thank you Koz :) Not sure what you mean what you mean by "General Radio test generator" and "Hewlett-Packard analyzer" they are extremely broad terms. What type of generator are you referring to and what analyzer? It is not for radio-related testing but general bench top experimental equipment in al...

Re: Guaranteed High Frequency Sound Card With IN and OUT

Thank you all! :)

For those who asked, the application is a general bench test instrument that I can use to generate various audio and non-audio test signals.

Any additional suggestions are welcomed. :)

Thank you

Guaranteed High Frequency Sound Card With IN and OUT

Hi,
I am looking for a relatively low cost "sound card" (internal or external) that is guaranteed to BOTH record and play back high frequency signals to at least 160KHz.

Any suggestions?

Thank you :)

Re: Frequency sweep

Thank you, I tried it but it only goes up to 22,000 Hz and need it to generate higher frequencies for frequency response test at higher values. How can I do that? Is 22KHz an Audacity limit? If not how can I generate a frequency sweep file up to 100KHz or as high as it is possible? (obviously export...

Frequency sweep

Hi,
how can I create a file with a single tone but where the frequency starts at a value and end at another. i.e. a frequency sweep.

Couldn't find any plugins, are there any?

Or is that a built-in functionality? If so, where do I find it?

Thank you :)

192KHz input and output system

Hi, I am an electronic engineers but don't know much about audio specifically. For testing purposes (audio and non-audio) I need to setup a system that: a) creates waveforms and/or noise at 192KHz b) outputs that waveform at 192KHz (i.e NOT down-sample it or low-pass filter it) c) acquire/records to...

Re: Noise frequency range

Thank you Steve, I need to implement white noise ideally up to 193KHz for testing application (not only for audio). I know about the Nyquist freq, but how do I set the sample rate in Audacity? Ref the lowest noise frequency, I understand what you are suggesting but there must be a specific value tha...

Post not appearing here [SOLVED]

Hi,
I just joined the forum and posted a question but it does not appear in the forum. Is there a delay or does it need approval before appearing?
Or was there an issue in posting?

Thank you
