There is a tutorial in Wikipedia concerning how to import from iTunes into Audacity:
http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php? ... rom_iTunes
I didn't think this was possible? At least, every time I've tried it imports it as some unrecognizable audio. Any tips?

Re: Creating individual audio tracks
I think with Windows Media Player you have to tell it exactly what kind of playlist you want- what songs, in what order, etc....

Re: lost all of my menu options
Hmmm....not sure. I'm not real good with computers, especially Vista, but did you right-click on the Volume icon, Recording devices, Right-click in the Recording space- make sure "show disabled devices" is checked out? You should have the "Stereo Mix" option there somewhere. Though, my Vista doesn't...

Re: Recording sound coming out of your speakers.
Yes, thank you. I already have "Show Disabled Devices" checked and nothing appears. Also, I've been watching tutorials about Audacity on YouTube and some folks have the drop down menu that has the "What U Hear" option. How come I don't see that on my Audacity? I have both versions too.....

Recording sound coming out of your speakers.
I was looking through some of the tutorials, can't figure this out: " Provided your audio drivers are written correctly and the operating system mixer is making the input available, you should be able to select a Recording Source called "Stereo Mix", "What U Hear", "Mix", "Loopback", "Sum" or someth...
