You will probably find that all Nyquist effects are missing.
This appears to be a packaging error in the ubuntuhandbook1 PPA build. I'd suggest that you report it to the PPA maintainer.

HI all, Im having some issues with audacity. Ive purged and reinstalled 2.4.1 from the ppa -ppa:ubuntuhandbook1/audacity. Ubuntu Studio 18.04 the nyquist plugins are missing. so I re downloaded and copied a few .ny files eg. /home/mark/.audacity-data/Plug-Ins/Firex.ny but it still wont find them.(ie...
