I want to create an mp3 ringtone. According to my media upload site, verizon, it required a sample rate of 20,050....the mp3 was 32,000. Weird. I just downloaded audacity a few days ago and it's 1.2.6 Yes the quiet area is just noise not music. It worked when i drew the lever all the way to left "less", but that's hardly the setting the youtube instructional suggested, and I'm rather perplexed at why the default is at the m...
