I couldn't report this as a bug / feature request in Bugzilla so I decided to post it here (and I apologize if this is not the right location) I have to edit some audio files on a laptop with Intel integrated graphics and Windows 7 (HP ProBook 6570b if it matters, I can give more details if needed) ...
