My main system is not online, so not an issue. I need Win 7 on this system for some older software. I appreciate support will not be available, but just wondered if there were likely to be issues. if so I'll revert to a legacy version.

Just wondered if anyone is running the latest version (3.0.2) on Windows 7. I've installed without any noticeable issues, but wonder if I'm going to hit problems later on.

Anyone been using the latest version on seven ?

Thanks for that. I come from using an old version od Audition that just records from any cursor point I knew something similar should be possible with Audacity, just didn't know what to look for. Punch & Roll looks perfect.

Is it possible to change a setting in options to enable audacity to record from the cursor position within a track. Effectively overwriting anything in front of the cursor. The default is to always record at the end of the current recording within a track.
