Thank you for support. I found the problem! I read the help pages and saw MAC's have difficulty with folders that contain spaces and special characters. I renamed the folders and the imports worked. I'll looking in the forum for some other topics that are not inuitive to me, and appreciate your effo...

Typos can be embarrassing, importing. My project is set to 44.1, 16 bit, mono.

Thanks for your response. I'm using the free version of Flip4Mac as well as QuickTime Pro. I can the WMA files in quicktime, and export WAV, AIFF, MOV, MP4, and AU. None these will impost into Audacity.

Converting WMA to import to Audacity
I use an Olympus digital recorder for lectures. I would to import them to audacity for editing and understand that it cannot use this format. I have tried converting to AIFF and to MOV with various options yet I'm still unable to import. My preference would be to convert with the smallest file size ...
