Please fix tihs problem Audacity team -- we shouldn't have to go through this workaround.
Also please change that default set up of recording in mono instead of stereo -- that's stupid.

Pasting mono tracks onto stereo creates problem
Hey, stalepie here. I was just trying to copy and paste a mono track onto a stereo track and I noticed that it only pasted it into the left channel. Is there a way to get it to paste onto both channels of the stereo track, or do I have to turn the mono version into stereo (artificially) and THEN pas...

I don't have Skype or Vonage. I'll just forget this project because I don't understand. (Don't want to use Winamp to output music, because I wanted to skip tracks on the fly while recording). Thanks for the help though.

I am trying to record an mp3 playing in Winamp using "Wave Out Mix" in Audacity, but it gives the sound a kind of echo-y, "live" quality that I don't want.
