Would it be possible to open two instances of Audacity?

Hi, Would it be possible to open two instances of Audacity of Windows version 2.3.0? Suppose I have already opened one instance of Audacity. For some reason I need to open another instance, so I can work on two projects at the same time. With Audacity opened already, after I click Audacity icon on d...

Re: Is it possible to convert an accompaniment in bB to bE?

I tried Effect > Change Pitch a few times for different scenarios. It works pretty well. After change the whole track from Eb to C, it sounds good. Maybe my ears are not sensitive enough? :P

Thanks for your information.

Re: Can we lock wave position while edit its previous sections?

Thank you for the information. "Option 1: Split Delete" seems working okay. I can delete a section in part 1, then move the edited part 1 to right side to merge with part 2 while part 2 remains in its original position. I don't see how to make the pin work for my case, but it sounds like another opt...

Re: Can we lock wave position while edit its previous sections?

Thanks for the information. I tried but it doesn't give what I'm looking for. Please see screenshot below for details. I could split the original track to two parts (1st part and 2nd part in screenshot below). However, when I delete the highlighted section in the 1st part, the 2nd part moves to forw...

Can we lock wave position while edit its previous sections?

Hi, Can some one please share some insight...would it be possible to lock the wave position while we edit its previous sections? For example, when we edit (trim or extend) the sections in green circle, can we lock the wave behind the red vertical bar in their position? This way, after we edit the wa...

Can we move tracks up or down, or change their colors?

Hi, Can some one please let me know, with Windows version 2.3.0, can we: (1) move tracks up or down? (2) change color from blue to different color for tracks? With these two features, we can keep tracks under edit close to each other, and identify them easily when edit multiple tracks. Thanks & rega...

Re: Does Audacity have an effect that can slow down a track a little bit?

Thanks for the information. I tried "Effect -> Change Tempo". It solved the problem by -2.3 tempo change :D

When solo was recorded, apparently it followed a different accompaniment from the one I received via a different resource. Anyway, the problem has been solved. Thank you.

Does Audacity have an effect that can slow down a track a little bit?

Hi, Can some one please let me know if Audacity 2.3.0 have an effect that can slow down a track a little bit? I have two tracks, one solo and one accompaniment. They don't sync 100%. The accompaniment is a bit faster. Would it be possible to use Audacity 2.3.0 to slow it down a bit from the beginnin...
