Please state the exact three-section version of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity". I can't, because then I get this e–mail message: Hello Piotr Grochowski, You are receiving this notification because your post "Re: Equalize always crashes" at "Audacity Forum" was disapproved by a moderator...

Everytime I try to click Equalize (officially Equalization but I don't care) it crashes. Equalize seems to make a stupid assumption that the sound is CD quality and therefore covers the hearing range.

Sorry, I didn't think of that. You behave like it's a fatal design flaw, when it's actually not thinking of something. Also, when you type in generators on such frequencies, each time you type a digit, it adds a sample.

Maybe you should try in Windows instead. Also, interestingly, 2 samples is the starting point too.

I'm using Audacity 2.1.3. I see 2 extra samples in length.

1. Generate anything 1 second
2. set project sample rate to more than 500000Hz
3. enjoy 2 extra samples in length

On really high frequencies (more than 500000Hz) Audacity shows length as 2 more samples than the correct length. This is a weird glitch.

Silencing audio is intended to be destructive, what are you talking about?

Bump - When you switch to spectrogram and change to Reassignment, but Audacity temporarily crashes when the song ends...
