I have about 30 audio recordings from an Android phone in which I need to bring out the voices.
Attached to this message are clips in mp3 and ogg as an example.
Can you tell me what steps to take to make the voices more easily heard?

Is the inability a conscious design decision? Is it not something needed often?

I've started with one track. I've created another, empty track. I will copy&paste bit from track 1 to track 2. As I do so, I want track 1 to be locked so I don't inadvertently make any changes to it.

I have the track selected, and then I go to the Tracks menu, but don't see what I'm looking for.
