Do some technical problems begin to occur once you reach a certain number of tracks? you need to have good hardware to do lots of tracks. i have only a basic computer and the inbuilt sound card and if i do more than eight mono tracks i start to get bad latency issues. ie the track i record graduall...

Problem...it's like sounds too loud...distorted. have you tried reducing the input volume when you record? Its probably the type of cd you are using and what you are playing it on. Most old cd players dont read burnt cds, some of the new cd will read recordable cds (CDR) but not re-writable cds (CDRW). have you tried filling the blank hole in your guitar track with silence rather deleting that part of the track and having it as empty. maybe thats the prob.

sounds like your singing along to the backing track through speakers instead of headphones hence the microphone is picking up the background music coming from the speakers.

Also, you can get around not having a bounce by copying the newly mixed track, then using the Undo feature, then pasting the mixed track back into the project. It's annoying, but it works. Not sure i understand this, are you saying to copy a track into another project to reduce the load while recor...
