Re: cut and paste
Thanks. but we need the complete listing for thread 0. We're getting close to seeing where the error occurs. Exactly what text are you copying from discogs? Are you un-knowingly copying HTML tags or graphics? Are you copying text with accented characters? If so, how are those accented characters re...

Re: cut and paste
That's not a crash report. Crash reports in Console under "User Diagnostic Rerports" will end with ".crash". Here's a sample near the beginning of a crash report, showing the kind of information we need: Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV...

Had over 6000 so I reposted. Audacity 2.2.0 displays a log and asks if I would like to recover my present work. That's a crash. In the Finder, go to the Utilities folder and start the Console app. Under "User Diagnostic Reports" there should be reports about the Audacity crashes. Copy one of those r...

Re: cut and paste
Audacity 2.2.0 goes to failure. Do you mean that Audacity 'crashes' (the application suddenly disappears and is no longer running)? I'm not able to reproduce that. Does it always happen? Does it happen if you paste just a single word? How exactly are you pasting the text in the label (step by step,...

Re: intermittent record
I'm adding to this post again because the intermittent episode just occurred again. This really needs to be more reliable. Transferring records is tedious enough. If the problem was predictable it could be fixed. Imagine, transferring records for 8hrs and find that there are 5 sec drops here and the...
