Re: 0sx 10.14 compatibility
Steve thanks for your help. All download and install went perfect. The only problem I have, it will not record from usb turntable. My vitals with computer, sound preferences and utilities midi all show audacity with codec input output. The midi shows sound is there. I'm running this with a Behringer...

Re: 0sx 10.14 compatibility
Audacity 2.3.0 works on Mojave, though Apple will nag you about it being a 32-bit app. Just dismiss the nag screen when it appears. It is planned for the next release to be 64-bit on macOS (so Audacity 2.3.0 will be the end of the line for anyone still using a 32-bit Mac). thanks Steve I am going u...

Re: Audio noise when trying to record a vinyl record to Auda
Would I use tape out (rec) to the external USB adapter. I am using 2-NAD 2155 mono R/L. My pre-amp NAD 1155 is connected to the amps with the low output. This pre-amp has two outputs High/Low. Could I connect the USB adapter to the high output? I'm using the Behringer UCA-222 adapter. I have no ide...

Re: Audio noise when trying to record a vinyl record to Auda
This may be somewhat premature but, I got a new Mac Pro that does not have mini jack in. If I'm forced back to the USB (which is now 3.0 but back served as 2.0 because the turntable is 2.0) Does anyone know the best approach to hooking this up to the newer MAC PRO. After reading through this thread...

Re: cut and paste
I don't know how to make a video capture on a Mac, so this is on Linux, but on Mac it works in exactly the same way: (Click on the animation below to see the whole picture) copy-paste.gif Thanks Steve and Bill, For me and for now I'm considering this solved. However, I also realize that my problem ...

Re: cut and paste
Just 2 clarifications, does the new Audacity app copy over the old app when trashing the .cfg file? What is the latest version number? The latest version is 2.2.1. I don't know what you mean by "does the new Audacity app copy over the old app when trashing the .cfg file" . Trashing the cfg file res...
