Thank you Gale. I haven't downloaded the new Sierra yet, so no problems to report. Just wanted to check in first before I did to ensure it's compatible with Audacity. 2.1.2.

Hi there,

Before I upgrade my Mac's OS to Sierra I wanted to first check in to see if it's compatible with Audacity please? last time I downloaded El Capitan, I couldn't use Audacity until a few upgrades later, which was terrible for my business!!

I've resorted to using a PC laptop to record and then edit on my Mac unit this is sorted out with Mac. I got all done fortunately. Thanks for all your support and I'm trusting Mac will squash this bug asap!

I did that but it's still not working. I also downloaded Reaper 64-bit, but it's doing the same thing when I attempt recording (

Unfortunately not, I don't use Time Machine..... But surely it shouldn't be a problem - I wonder why this is happening?? It doesn't make sense...
