I have tried what sounds to be the simple solution to exporting to an MP3 file by downloading the LAME MP3 Plug-in. But when I open audacity after installing the plug-in and it searches for the lame file I find it in my applications folder, inside the audacity folder, then inside the plug-ins folder...
