Re: Any idea what is causing this?
So it sounds like a software conflict? Yes. How would i go about fixing this issue, if there is a fix? There is an "exclusive mode" in Windows: so only one program has control of the mic ... exclusive.gif I've never had to use it myself though, so I'm not familiar with it :? . Alright i'll give tha...

So it sounds like a software conflict? How would i go about fixing this issue, if there is a fix? T...

Re: Is there any way to fix this audio leaking problem?
i can have the headphones at the same volume but record the microphone using a USB soundcard, the headphones are not heard whatsoever but using a USB sound card prevents other problems that don't occur with just using the combo jack. That sentence does not make sense. Do you mean using a USB sound ...

Y-cable adapter#.jpg Unfortunately i have both types of Y splitters yet...

Re: Audio falling behind capture card recording
Yeah, no matter what i try with the USB soundcard, nothing has worked, the only thing i can do is connect my microphone to the microphone part of the Y-Splitter And is the game audio then playing on the computer sound device? And is the video then synced with the game audio and commentary? Did you ...

Re: Audio falling behind capture card recording
Users recording video commentary often do that. That's why we get so many requests that Audacity should support "global shortcuts" that work whatever app you're in. Recording with two different interfaces on the same computer is a Very Bad Idea™. Those two inputs use different clocks*. The resultin...
