editing a pre saved audacity music file
when i re edit a edited & saved audacity music file (to AMPLIFY etc whatever)I find that when ive saved the file its fine & plays ok in in both itunes & windows and the time bar reaches the end of play,However if i chamge the title of the file then replay it,the time bar falls short 2-3 seonds short...

i find the only way to get good bass recordings is to use a more powerful type of cassette deck to import your music ,rather than the hand held tape decks, which to my mind always seem a bit tinny. then again you can always alter the bass on your hi-fi player i suppose.i cant see any other way of al...

hi Jsouza-Ive tried your conservative settings of 9/2/6 in noise reduction their fine however, i seem to detect a slight fall off on the high frequencies & BASS doesnt seem as promounst-mickthefish.

thanks steve,great to know NOISE REDUCTION will be the same in 2.1.1 version.i always use 4 in the FREQUENCY REDUCTION which works fine in all my imports---mick the fish.

hi Gale.will there be any changes in the NOISE REDUCTION of the 2.1.1 version as apposed to the 2.1.0 version ?,as i am satisfied with the 2.1.0 version & dont fancy doing all my tapes & records again.im hoping the difference will be slight(if any).i use an xp home laptop & ion tape2/record2 pc unit...
