Re: can't move pasted section?
Thanks for the reply but these are problems I never had with earlier versions. Last thing I need when I already have a dozen tracks on the screen are new ones for every cut/paste operation. Besides, then you have to manually align each successive part instead of just pasting each part past the end o...

Re: can't move pasted section?
Another anomaly I found when pasting a section into a blank area, it appears sometimes with a section cut in the middle of it. It's random and like a ghost cut appearing maybe from a location that had a cut there prior to the paste of the section or the pasted section itself had previously had a cut...

can't move pasted section?
Using 2.3.0 in WIN 7 pro. This may not be a bug but didn't happen with earlier versions. I copy a section from a track, move to end of track (in blank area) with cursor somewhere past end. Paste clip then try to move forward to connect with rest of track but seems it wont' move any further forward t...

Re: Half Mute bug(?)
BTW, not that it matters now but I just discovered it happens in all other solo modes as well.

Half Mute bug(?)
Here's the "half mute" bug I discovered. It happens to me running Win 7 and version 2.3.0 With Preferences/track/track behaviors/solo button set to "Simple", when SHIFT clicking on any stereo track mute button, the result is that only the upper half of the stereo track shows it being muted (see pic)...

Re: backward version compatibility?
Thanks Steve, not using any macros or such and I'll never use half the features in this version so for me, simpler is better. I am doing a lot of track editing on the fly and got real fast in V2.1.2. That track focus thing we talked about requires me to develop an entire new sequence of keystrokes f...

backward version compatibility?
Running WIN 7 pro with V2.3.0 and want a more stable version w/o the known bugs.
First, I assume files made on 2.3.0 can be opened and used in 2.2.2? If so, what's best way to install 2.2.2 over 2.3.0? Leave settings or start new?
Also, should I uninstall 2.3.0 first? Thanks!

How to lock track focus?
Hi, I running Win 7 Pro with V2.3.0 I can't find how to keep track focus locked when using quick-play so scrolling track remains available. After upgraded to 2.3.0 from 2.1.2 It now appears that after using the quick play function while editing that I can't scroll horizontally until I re-select the ...
